Kat specialises in many Yoga styles and teaches regular in-person workshops and events in Edinburgh. These events are a great way to deepen your practice, pamper yourself and meet new people. You have time to work closely with your teacher to find modifications, styles and asanas that support your unique body and give yourself some time to recharge and relax.

 

Outdoor Yoga at the Meadows

  • Ready to soak up some summer good vibes? I’m so excited to announce our outdoor Gentle Yoga classes with a little soothing sound bath during savasana.

  • We will meet up at The Pavilion cafe at noon and find a nice wee location in the Meadows with plenty of sunshine and shade. A great way to unwind and recharge this summer.

Deep Release: Yin Yoga & Breathwork workshop

  • Escape the demands of daily life and immerse yourself in a sanctuary of stillness with this deeply nourishing workshop.

  • We will explore the profound practices of Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and deeply relaxing breathwork to cultivate profound rest and release tension on physical/mental/emotional level.

The Afternoon Reset: Yoga, Sound & Stillness

  • Join us on Sat 27th Sep 2-5pm at Lila Yoga for an afternoon of blissful rejuvenation. This special event is a journey from dynamic movement to deep rest.

  • We'll begin with a mindful Vinyasa Flow with Joanne to get your energy moving and your body warm. Then, we'll take a delightful break for tea and cake, offering a chance to connect and recharge.

  • Refreshed, you'll melt into a calming Restorative Yoga session with Kat, where gentle poses are held to release tension and invite deep relaxation. We'll conclude the experience with a short sound journey, allowing the resonant vibrations to wash over you, promoting a sense of peace and stillness.

Sound & Rest Nest

  • I offer bespoke, private & group 60/90min sound journeys combined with all-level friendly, comfortable Restorative Yoga poses

  • These sessions focus on creating vibrations to clear away blocked energy, bringing us back into balance on a cellular level

  • Ideal as a private session, or a lovely event for friends, family or any special occasion.

Yoga Nap - online session

  • Yoga Nap is a therapeutic, restorative technique that teaches you how to slow down, how to release tension and restore the sense of balance, peace and wellbeing.

  • Yoga Nap is an active relaxation practice that provides healing for the body and the mind with a help of props such as bolsters, blankets and blocks. The poses are designed to be comfortable.

  • This Restorative Yoga session is especially useful when you need to eliminate fatigue and stress that result from your daily activities. It can also help you cope with insomnia, recover from illness, injury or overcome emotional depression and anxiety. The other benefits also include improved immunity, better mood, sleep and digestion. This session is suitable for beginners.
